Karachi's first public electric bus transports passengers, in the provincial capital on Thursday, the Sindh Transport Department (STD) began operating the first public electric bus.

The first route for the bus was described in the STD. From Tent House to Sea View, the bus would transport people via Model Colony and Baloch Colony. 50 buses would be run in the initial phase, according to the department.
